Deanne Jeffs

Deanne has been teaching at Dance Discovery since 1997, and is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.  For the past 18 years Deanne has successfully prepared the Dance Discovery students for their exams annually.

Deanne studied Year 11 and 12 at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, and later went on to achieve her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Deanne has had a large amount of professional experience, playing the lead role Belinda in the feature film ‘Belinda” produced by Fontana Films Pty Ltd. Deanne was also the recipient of the Queens Trust Scholarship for Young Australians and graduated Dux with High Distinction from the Australian Ballet School’s Teacher Training program.

Deanne has previously taught at the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy, Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and at The Australian Ballet Schools vocational program, as well as various schools in metropolitan Melbourne.
