Amy has been dancing since the age of 3, and has trained in full time dance in both NSW and Melbourne. Amy has trained in Classical Ballet, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Modern expressive, National Character, Spanish Flamenco, Jazz, Cabaret, Repertoire and Pointe. Amy has successfully completed all of her RAD exams to Solo Seal, and was a finalist in 'The Isobel Anderson Award' and the 'McDonald Scholarship'.
Amy has been a professional cheerleader for The Hunter Mariner, Newcastle Breakers, The Victorian Titans and Melbourne Storm. Amy has also choreographed for the Melbourne Tigers Cheerleaders, and has performed at many corporate functions such as 'The V8 Super Cars Breakfast' and 'L'Oreal Fashion Week' with Natalie Bassingthwaite.
Amy has a great love of teaching ballet and her classes are structured to a fastidious and challenging professional standard.
She choreographs performance pieces for groups, solo routines for competitions and prepares students for major RAD examinations. Amy is currently completing her CBTS to become a registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dancing.
